1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of Velora, the Discord bot and the website at velorabot.lol (together, “Velora”, “we”, “us”). Velora is run by an independent developer in the United Kingdom. By adding Velora to a server, using its commands, or buying Premium, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Velora.
You must also follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using Velora.
2. Who can use Velora
You must meet Discord's minimum age (13 in the UK, or older where your local law requires). To buy Premium you must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Velora to:
- break the law, or harass, threaten, dox or abuse anyone;
- create, share or request illegal content, sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence, self-harm or hatred;
- spam, raid servers, or automate Velora in ways it isn't designed for;
- get around limits, cooldowns, Premium checks or blacklists, including by using multiple accounts;
- attack, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with Velora, its hosting or its providers;
- download or share media you don't have the right to, or infringe anyone's copyright or other rights;
- impersonate others, or use Velora's output to deceive people.
4. Server owners and staff
If you add Velora to a server, you're responsible for how it's configured there and for telling your members how it's used, including moderation, logging and automod. Grant Velora only the permissions it needs. Moderation records and settings for your server are under your control, and you're responsible for using moderation tools fairly.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of anything you submit to Velora, such as messages, tags, profile details and images. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide Velora's features. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to submit it.
6. AI features
- AI answers, images, speech and transcripts are generated automatically by third-party models. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.
- Content you submit to AI features is processed by AI providers, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Don't submit sensitive personal information.
- You're responsible for how you use AI output, including following the law and any rules of the place you share it.
- Available models depend on our providers and can change at any time. If a model is retired, we may replace it with a similar one.
7. Premium
- One-time purchase: User Premium and Server Premium are single payments, not subscriptions. You won't be charged again.
- What “lifetime” means: Premium lasts for as long as Velora operates the Premium features. It isn't transferable between Discord accounts.
- Fair use: Premium raises your limits but isn't unlimited. Daily limits keep Velora fast and affordable for everyone, and we may adjust them.
- Features can change: we may change, improve or replace Premium features over time, but we won't take away the core benefits you paid for without a fair replacement or refund.
- Server Premium applies to servers you own that have Velora. If server ownership changes, Server Premium follows the buyer.
- Gift codes can be redeemed once, by any Discord account. Keep them private: anyone with the code can redeem it.
- Prices are shown in GBP and payments are processed by Stripe or NOWPayments.
8. Refunds and cancellation
- Premium starts immediately. When you buy, you ask us to give you access straight away. Under UK consumer law, this means you lose the usual 14-day right to cancel digital content once your Premium is active.
- If something's wrong: if Premium doesn't work as described and we can't fix it within a reasonable time, you're entitled to a refund. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
- Goodwill refunds: if you contact us within 7 days of buying, we'll consider other refund requests fairly, case by case.
- Gift codes: unredeemed gift codes can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Once a code has been redeemed, it can't be refunded.
- Crypto payments can only be refunded in a way NOWPayments supports, and network fees aren't refundable.
- Chargebacks: please contact us before disputing a payment. If a payment is reversed, we may remove the related Premium.
To ask for a refund, contact us through our Discord support server with your Discord username and payment date.
9. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Velora running, but it's provided by an independent developer and depends on Discord and other third-party services. We can't promise it will always be available, error-free or unchanged. We may add, change or remove features, or stop running Velora entirely. If we stop running Premium features within 12 months of your purchase, we'll offer a partial refund for the time remaining.
10. Ending your access
You can stop using Velora at any time by removing it from your server. We may restrict, suspend or blacklist a user or server that breaks these terms, abuses Velora, or puts other users or the service at risk. If we remove Premium because you seriously broke these terms, you won't be entitled to a refund.
11. Liability
Velora is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost profits, or anything caused by Discord, AI providers, other third-party services, or the way a server's staff use Velora. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your rights as a consumer under UK law.
12. Law, changes and contact
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, but if you live elsewhere in the UK you can also use your local courts.
- We may update these terms as Velora changes. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give notice on the website or in our support server. Continuing to use Velora after an update means you accept it.
- Product names, logos and brands shown on this website belong to their owners. Velora is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord or any AI provider.
